I had no idea this thread would be so funny. I only pulled it up because it was now on the OT board. :)

(as a side issue....wd-40 works wonders taking the loud squeaky noise out of a swinging wood & steel fence. ;)

That's funny. I laughed pretty good. You know, I kinda took the BBS seriously, a little too seriously. With all of the excellent information available, the thing is an absolute treasure. I'll have to manuver around the dickheads that have nothing better to do than swipe and instead, use it as the resuorce that it is. Trouble is, I like to editorialize. I write letters the the local newpaper op-eds all the time. The good thing there is that the editors there filter out all the useless jetsom. Keeps the page somewhat intelligent. For those of you that support me, thanks. But don't expect much input from this point on. For that exercise, I have better places to participate. Probably more appropriate for at large comment as well. See ya at the races.

Oh, on the mid-life thing: A guy that is starting out on a new '71 total ground up restoration at this age and stage in life probably needs his head examined. I'm a candiadte for sure on the crisis thing. I simply refuse to mellow down and go out to pasture at the local links. Pushin' 60 and pushin' hard. I won't die in a rest home slobbering on a Reader's Digest, I promise.
