Art--how are the ferrets doing?
Jack |
Jack,
Thanks for asking! Corky is getting pretty weak and won't be with us much longer but the two girls (Cinnamon and Spice) are feisty as ever. |
Scout fits, kind of.

Taken just a few minutes ago. Working from home, on a conference call and my coworkers could hear the dog snoring in the background.

Lola- the retired greyhound
I never knew that my dirty laundry could provide such pleasure to another creature. :D
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1193203630.jpg The couch is now entirely freed up for me! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1193203759.jpg Enjoying the beach, so long as the naughty waves don't get too close. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1193203893.jpg |
Greyhounds are such nice dogs.
A friend of mine had one for a few months, but his big fluffy cat looked WAY too much like the "rabbit" the greyhound had spent his whole life chasing. Didn't end well. |
We got lucky- she seems entirely unconcerned with small fluffy things. There's a lot of feral cats around here, and they will run by in front of her, and I swear it has no more effect on her than a blowing leaf would. At the pet store, we walked by the rabbit cage and no reaction. The only thing she runs for is to catch other dogs. Which she does very quickly, and then hangs her head in front of them trying to taunt them into running faster.
She also doesn't seem to understand her breed, as she fell in love with a Boston Terrier. She swoons like a teenaged girl for Brad Pitt or something. It is pathetic. |
Pics from today of the three stooges:

Ramm, I had an old friend that had two Greyhound rescue dogs and they both were (if the term isn;t too gay - not that there;s anything wrong with it) \"lovely" dogs. Calm and even tempered. Sweet really. Are they pretty much all that way?
|
Yep one of favorite threads.
Almost adopted a greyhound a while back, they are very sweet dogs. Here is one of my old girl and my fiesty boy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1195232436.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1195232461.jpg |
