I don't think MacDill was ever a B52 base.
Or are those something else in the photo? I would have guessed Kadena, but I suppose it could be Burpelson Air Force Base.

Yes MacDill. Rumor that back in the Cold War days there were B-52 there. Those are KC refuelers. My dad was stationed when they had B-17's.

Regarding the Air Base: the only B-52 bases left are Minot and Barksdale in Louisiana. Doesn't look like Minot.
