As Komarov hurtled towards earth and certain death in the stricken Soyuz 1 craft, he could be heard screaming and cursing the 'people who had put him inside a botched spaceship.'

Horrific: The charred remains of Komarov were on view in an open casket during his state funeral after the crash

Just finished overseeing a project that included the complete overhaul of this steam turbine and centrifugal compressor.
That pic was taken at the begining of WWII when the machines were on the test stand after assembly.
The machines have been running 24 hrs/day for over 70 years. Fer persective yer looking at about 100 tons worth.
