All of those are valid reasons. BUT, I stayed in a motel in Arkansas in the back woods in a little town that my wife still calls the Bates motel. It looked like it was from a horror movie set. Our room was a building by itself with furnishing from 1960. It was in a very wooded area and tree limbs rubbed against the roof. The shower was horrid, and the bed felt like it was stuffed with dead cats. Since my wife booked the reservation on line from photos of the place I just grinned and still tease her about the place. It was not a great place.
