I have just had personal experience with such a device to treat a small tumor in the old prostate.

With these nurses hooking up the machine:


... and I have names, addresses and pictures for the date-rape police report later one. The staff thought that was kinda funny. But hey, ya gotta have some humor in the situation.

Everyone who has access has their own padlock. Removing any one of them, and the bar it is attached to, allows the internal bar to slide enough to unlatch the whole works and get in.
