A guy in the next neighborhood (a contractor I think) has been remodeling this house for at least a decade. It started when he added an approx 2500 sq ft garage.

I was driving by the other day and I couldn’t believe he was still not finished.

The first pic is of that garage, which was mostly finished about 5-6 years ago, and included a normal looking driveway.



But man, has he taken it to a whole nuther level...

That's insane.

A house I looked at a few weeks ago has a similar saga. Homeowner got a house loan for home improvements that would update and fix up his old house. Instead he used the money to build a four car garage with a second floor. Now both projects sit unfinished and he's out of money. Really nice guy, does good work just prone to grass is greener on the other side syndrome.

That bunker totally outdoes it though.
