The driver must have missed Sr. Bridget’s 2nd grade punctuation lesson, that went something like, “Drop the ‘e’ and add ‘ing’”.

I’m not that familiar with the more modern models, but this one really caught my eye favorably. Obviously a turbo and a cabrio, but what’s the model - 991? 991? And what approx year? And I thought all center-locks were GT3’s...

It's a 997.2 Turbo. Probably a 2010, based on the interior and center locks. in 2010 a manual transmission was rare. Way to go dude.

What a shame with the curb rash on the wheel!

But guessing if he/she can afford the car they can afford to fix the wheel.

It is a very attractive car.

Thanks. To be clear, not mine. But I am drooling at a modern 911...

I believe most of the more modern 911 GTSs come with centerlocks as well. I seem to remember reading something on the local PCA facebook site where a guy was trying to find (I think) a GTS with regular 5 lug wheels, but was having a problem because 5-lug was optional and centerlock was standard or something like that.

Centerlock is cool, but I'm not sure how practical it is for a person that would even want to pull their own wheels. I'm guessing that the nut goes on at a bit more than 96lbft.

Need to use the factory torque multiplier. Dealers got it with the special tool allocation for the Carrera GT. As I recall, the Carrera GT came with one in the trunk.
