Daddy O...I've never bin a follower of anything, I follow my own path. So "whats in" or "it" doesn't matter to me, and I usually will take a contrary position to "it" just outa spite. If the herd is following "it" then "it" is allready old news.

By being who I am, if I say something is "it," then "it"is "it". Sometimes it just takes a while before people catch on though....and reachs a critical mass. By then I am usually off some place else because the current "it" is a case of bin there done that.

Tabs,
You can't be that bad. Anyone with a garage larger than the rest of their house is OK by me.

tabs 01-06-2004 11:25 AM

The garage I have now is shallow, I can barely fit my F150 in it. And I now only have 3 spaces.

My house in CA had 3 spaces in the front garage..650 Sq ft, and I built an additional garage of 750 sq ft in back 3 more spaces plus it had a walk in vault of 100 sq ft. I miss it.

Tract homes always sort change the garages, they are shallow and not wide so that you can't put in shelves or cabinets for storage.

Your neighborhood is very "Spielberg-like," with the new homes. It seems, though, one's home would be a nightmare to find after a night out drinking.

Scenario: "Oops! I thought this was my bedroom. And I thought you were my wife!"

At least in this neighborhood houses have a little distance between them. Most housing tracts are 6 or 7 houses to the acre....like Monopoly houses one on top of the other. Quiet literally in Summerlin I was looking at a house 2800 sq ft that if you opened the bedroom window you could touch the block wall between the houses...that house was selling for 350K.

The way things are working out this house is only going to be temporary.

Are you moving back to So. Cal?

Don't know...AZ, WA, NV, OR or CA...I can go anywhere I want. Maybe I'll become a gypsy boy....
