i would have to say the Cayenne Turbo would be my choice given your current stable of turbo only vehicles. Also, I would be willing to bet that Mrs. Amac's "SUV" bust out quarters like the Cayenee, nor stop, handle or whatever else you want to measure (except maybe size/space). The CL is a nice ride, no doubt, but a Cayenne Turbo is one of the ultimately fun point A to point B rides out there. Parts for the other cars can be hauled while getting to a 100 in 13 seconds, sounds like great fun to me. Fastest parts hauler in the world. Weeeeeeee!

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!

Don't get an suv - even that one. It screams "I'm a conformist idiot with too much money"

Ok, I'm driving this thing for the afternoon.
It is a cool ride, like a 911 wearing hiking
boots. Has the feel of a 996 turbo , just
higher off the ground.
Needs some 24" "bling" wheels and I could
move it in the Amac stable.
I'm smiling so far!!!

It's one thing to offer an opinion on whether Amac should trade his Benz for the Porsche, but calling him names for asking, (lemming), is out of bounds, IMO.

I didn't want Porsche to build the thing/put their resources in an SUV, but now that they have I like it for what it is, which is an SUV that performs like a Porsche. And black turbo Cayennes are badass. Also IMO.

*yawn*

Cayenne positives:
EXTREMELY well-made, comfortable, well-designed vehicle and a demonstration that Porsche engineering is most certainly not "caught in a rut"

Cayenne negatives:
It's an suv, which screams "sell-out" by Porsche (should have been a prototype or limited-edition only), pointless. It's designed only to appeal to rich idiots that want to brag about it to their friends over cocktails and frankly Porsche is laughing all the way to the bank. If you want to be a cash cow and get milked, well. . . enjoy it. At least the suckers that buy this thing are funding research for the "real" Porsche cars coming out like the E2 or future 911 descendents.

An suv - PLEASE! *yawn*

Porsche. There is no substitute.
Stop it! I almost shot coffee out my schnoz.

As far as the trade? I love the CL but would have to seriously consider the 'CT'. I joke about the water cooled stuff a lot and one of my close friends and I were driving along last week and we saw a VERY nice 996 Turbo. He said "Now what in the world is so wrong with that preventing you from liking them?" I said "Nothing. I'd drive it." and he almost fell over.

I s'pose my jabbing at water-cooled Porsche has been a bit over the top. I'd drive just about any Porsche.

I had no idea there was such a large "SUV Hate squad"
out there.
As some of you know this is not my 1st. day at the rodeo
when it comes to Porsche.
I build em, drive em, race em, tear em apart and start
all over again. I'm "911 hardcore" as they come!!
I can only assume that the negitivity is comming from those
farther down the 911 road than myself.
If I work this deal out maybe I'll run across some of you guys
at a stop light in my Lemming Turbo!!

Bumper sticker seen yesterday, on the tailgate of an obviously "off road" 4X4 pickemup truck in Orygun: "GOD INVENTED ASPHALT SO YUPPIES COULD GO 4 WHEELING". Why did I think of this thread as I laughed my ass off?

My personal favorite Oregon bumper sticker has always been:

Ya know, I'd like to respond to this but I'm late - I've got a cocktail party at 6ish and I can't wait to tell everybody about my SUV ..... now where'd I put my gold chains?

What a fu'king moron.
