When I was a kid, I would pick up spiders and mess with 'em. I would set up 'homes' for them in big jars or boxes. Ever heard of "Writing Spiders"? I'll poke around the web and find a pic. Those suckers got big and were my favorite to catch.

Just heard that spiders and geckos have thousands of hairs on their feet; more contact area relative to their body weight that enables them to walk upside down on ceilings and rapel into your pie hole at night.
