A few years ago while attending my wife's family reunion outside of Danville, Virginia, I was poking around the old barns and sheds on the farm where the event was being held. Found some interesting autos.

Just typical Thai transportation. I suppose you would call them water buses instead of taxis. Great way to see Bangkok.

Amazon river Brazil is similar. The boat buses are usually quite a bit larger.
Yes, the bus-boats do often/usually have hammocks.
