And about a half hour later, the lightning got close enough to see.

Hope the foot gets better soon Byron!

About a decade ago I was backpacking with my son on a pretty easy trail and somehow stepped wrong on a rock and rolled my left ankle.
Hurt like a son of a batch and we were 4 miles in, close to our campsite.
Spent the night and hiked carefully back out the next day. 2 days later I went to the limp in clinic and got a xray.
Doc said bad twist, no broken bones.
It would get better as long as I layed off the stair master, treadmill and elliptical.
Every time I thought it was better I’d resume work outs and suffer afterwards.
Went in almost a year later had another xray and oopsy, hairline fracture… 6 weeks in a boot and it finally healed.
Hope yours doesn’t go on that long!!

Doing a complete rebuild on my/my son’s ‘85 Honda XR350R. (Shared custody, in my possession now)

So far I’m very pleased with the quality of parts and how different it looks in black.

Garage
Went out to this area for a jeep snow run this past winter. Could not get to the falls, but returned this past weekend. Unbelievable.

I'm not liking those numbers Byron, hypertension runs in my family, Mom had to be on meds for years.

Mine was borderline high for several years despite getting good workouts, keeping my weight in check and cutting stress levels dramatically, retirement helped that a bunch.
Dr held off prescribing anything for a few years, I started meds about 5 years back.

I bought a BP unit and monitored myself carefully checking am and pm readings.
Typically morning BP reading are highest, mine sure were, Dr had me switch to taking the med in the evening, that really evened out my #s back to 115- 122/80.
I was seeing 150's and 160's now and then.
Good luck and please do what you can to get those #s down...
