Something we can all agree on?

I've been hanging out with this crowd for what feels like a while now, and I've discovered that we can't agree on anything. I mean, really, we disagree on the color of blue, when it comes up. You'd think we'd be able to at least agree about Porsches -- but the Cayenne really throws the hammer in that potential agreement. We sometimes agree loosely on women or alcohol, but there are dissenters in even those easy topics.

So this thread begins my simple quest for something that we can all agree is true. No fair saying "well we all agree that gravity operates normally on gnomes thrown into dark rooms," either.

Suggestions?

Actually, I like that about this group. We all like our Porsches. Some prefer early cars, some Rs or 3. whatevers and some aren't happy without a turbo stuffing great hunks of atmosphere into their air-cooled sixes. This group is a band of brothers (and a few sisters) from around the world and like family, we have the occaisional disagreement. That is to be expected and respected. Also, like a family, I have noted over the three years I have been haunting this board, that there is always a quick offer of support to any member in trouble. Good Lord! If we all agreed on every point of discussion, there wouldn't be much point in turning on your computer and checking out the board, would there? Then the Beemerites would really be shakin' their heads at us.
Keep the debates going. We're all the better for them.

Say, is it true that Porsche owners get the least amount of play of all different makers of cars? Is it also true that women who drive Citroens are less modest?

I think that disagreement is unhealthy. We should all be like little cookie-cutter Porsche owners. Why can't we all just meet some simple stereotype so the world at least knows who we are?

Donuts are good? No, I disagree. Dunkin' Donuts aren't too bad, but those Krispy Kremes are all nasty. Maybe we could agree on beer? But some putz is going to argue that Bud Light is the best thing since sliced bread (yes, I just applied blatent name-calling in a pre-emptive argument about beer selection...) and we'll be off.

"Porsche should get back into racing" may be the one topic we actually agree on. Or maybe that Porsche should build a Boxster Coupe (Boxster SC, anyone see the latest R&T?)
