Yep, he's dead. And?
His office was about 5 miles from where I went to high school. Amusingly, my wife and I watched All the President's Men last night...unaware that the anniversary was approaching. Timely.

My wife and I just finished watching "Nixon" sxunday night which is the anniversary of his resignation, yesterday was the anniversary of his departure.

I get into it with young lefties on this subject all the time. Nixon stopped the draft 2 digits away from my ldraft lottery number. So as far as I'm concerned, he may well have saved my life (& a lot of other young men's). I can't make that statement about any other president. So yeah he f**ked up. But he also did a lot of good. He established relations w/China to put more pressure on Russia & help hasten the fall of the iron curtain.
I'd take 8 more years of Nixon over 8 more years of Slippery Willy any time.
