So, the largest terrorist strike hits our cities . . .you admit this was not due to Bush .. . .and yet you claim Bush is the root cause of terrorism.
Quote:

That's easy.

For one, root causes of terrorism

Kerry promises to work on getting all the recommendations of the 9/11 commission put into practice. Bush all but ignores these.
Right-o, If Kerry is in place all the terrorist will fold under Kerrys strong "hey, don't do that."

Kerry has the LONGEST record of ignoring threats. He in fact embraces enemies. (called: CHUMP, traitor, . .)

Thanks for playing.

You asked. I told you. Sorry you don't like the answer. If you don't want to hear the answer, then don't ask.

And if you're going to say stuff like he "ignore threats" perhaps you should elaborate.

Wish I had a challenge to play with :(

That was a clever attempt to mislead, wasn't it sebring....

Thanks for clarifying my statement to island which I'm sure was obvious to most.

Island is either so deluded he really sees what he wants, or just plain fabricates what he wants by saying that you said Bush is the root cause of terrorism.

Pearls CC. Pearls.

ahhh. . .say wha?

Let's review:

Q: . ..why anyone should vote FOR Kerry?

A: That's easy. For one, root causes of terrorism

Okay, WTF does that non-sentence "answer" mean?

(to me it sure looks like typical bush-basher knee-jerk canned response of (when asked about Kerry) blame Bush for his stirring the pot in Iraq)

so, looking for clarification...

Q: yeah? . ... did Bush cause 9/11?

A: NO! OMG. But what he's doing now.......

So, Sebring, please tell me what CC meant, when asked why anyone should vote FOR Kerry, with that . . . aaah. . . response of "easy. For one, root causes of terrorism" ?

Ya know, if you are going to suggest that I am delusional, you could at least help me figure out what's going on here. :)

Since you think I got it wrong. . .

Does it mean that Kerry is the root cause of terrorism? (and we need more)

Does it mean that Kerry has roots in terrorism? (and thus he'll better understand )

Does it mean that Sebring is hard-up for some cool_chick attention? (and believes adding his own words to reinforce CC's simple belief system will get him in good)

LOL, Glenn! Speaking from a non-partisan viewpoint, that's what I thought it meant. :D

Island, I assumed you would read all that I wrote...(that's what I get for ASSuming)

I guess I also ASSumed you've actually read up on the evidence....my bad.

Why don't you read the 9/11 report as well as sebring's correct conclusion of my statement, then it will make sense to you.

Like most bush lovers he doesn't bother letting the facts get in the way of his opinion.

You are going to have to at least TRY to explain yourself. ...How is your response "For one, root causes of terrorism" an answer to my question;

"So, how about YOU tell us why anyone should vote FOR Kerry?

Not "against Bush" . . . but FOR Kerry. ?

You haven't answered, you've obfuscated. Like some kind of . . .oh I dunno . .. ..maybe like a TROLL!

For one, ADDRESSING the root causes of terrorism

Kerry promises to work on getting all the recommendations of the 9/11 commission put into practice. Bush all but ignores these.

The recommendations include ADDRESSING the root causes of terrorism as well as force, etc.

And now you're calling me a troll? How old are you?

tabs 10-23-2004 04:32 PM

LIke Clinton before him Bush hopes that the economy grows and tax revenues increase thus reducing the deficeit.....But the reality of the matter is with the circumstances Bushy was and is faced with he REALLY had no choich but to run those deficeits.

cool_chick 10-23-2004 04:33 PM

But what about FY2005? Why STILL?

tabs 10-23-2004 04:34 PM

When your asked a question you answer with a question...and it's simple about Y2005 the economy while out of recession is still not robust....to be making up the deficeits yet...

You do realize this type of fiscal politics is very damaging in the way of the value of the dollar/inflation, etc...right?

And you do realize the claim that 80% of the tax relief given to the rich goes to job-creating small businesses is not true, right?

At the risk of you answering with yet another statement of partial truth (move-on.org talking point) or worse yet, another question....no I do not come to the same conclusion.....please explain it to me.

(1) The U.S. dollar has fallen in value more than 40% during the past two years relative to the Eurodollar. The decline continues and international investors who hold $4.6 trillion in U.S. treasury bills, corporate bonds and stocks are starting to panic. The massive U.S. Federal deficit, the equally massive U.S. trade deficit, and attempts by the government to stem the flow of manufacturing jobs to low cost economies all conspire toward even lower value for the U.S. dollar.

I went on moveon.org once when republicans were talking about that site. Sorry, not a site i visit. Why do you ask, do you go to that site?

Factcheck.org is equally bad. Very little balance or truth there either.

You seem pretty confused to me. You complain about the value of the dollar against the Euro in the very same breath that you complain about losing jobs overseas. A weaker dollar actually helps retain jobs and balance trade by making US goods more competitive overseas and is often intentional....Also, although the deficit is quite large due to two wars, a recession, and a major terrorist attack in the last four years...it is not too terribly bad historically with respect to GDP (the comparison that most educated people use)
