Wonder how much Prozac costs? This thread is unbelieveable... reminds me why I got out of psychology.

Oh my goodness:)

You know who I feel sorry for here...........Wayne. Can you imagine the steady flow of "poor-me, lightly veiled threat" e-mails that have been fired off to him?

The hope here is to ruin it for everybody, make no mistake. Misery loves company as they say.

911boost 11-28-2004 01:53 PM

Well said Wayne.

Jason Porter 11-29-2004 06:54 AM

And BTW, I am not a marketing manager, so please don't email me with solicitations to sell your products. I'm just the customer service guru:)

Have a nice day, and a great week everybody.

Superman 11-29-2004 07:43 AM

The original post is deleted. I read through about Page 3, so I think I get the "jist." I'd agree that Lynn (and everyone else) should stop whining and recognize that Wayne's views are independent of someone like Island's views.

That being said, I think it's no secret that I have been, and continue to be, deeply saddened and disappointed with some of the people here and their decisions when posting. I had been (unknosingly) very excessively charitable in my mind and my assumptions about some of the folks here, and now I realize those favorable assumptions were not earned, and are not going to be earned. I'd be wasting my breath if I even made any suggestion here regarding maturity, name-calling, etc. BTDT. There are actually many many many liberals here (Nostatic has admitted to being one, and there are some other pillars of this Pelican site who are even more liberal than I am, and whose opinions you all respect). But we liberals are divided into two groups. One that has been willing to expose themselves to the viciousness of our political so-called discussions, and those who are too smart to waste their time like I have. Some of you should be deeply ashamed. And of course, your reaction to these words, whether you post them or not, will be to accuse me of verbal crimes more heinous than any and all of your attacks on liberal posters. Some of you will post those thoughts and validate my accusation. And not even notice what you've done.

Wayne is a stand-up act and my hat's always been off to him and his team. When I clicked on this thread, based on the title, I thought maybe Pelicanparts was written up in one of those Harvard case study story books used so commonly in MBA courses. Wayne's strategy and success deserves that degree of positive attention.

Lynn,

How much time did you waste with this excercise??? Was it worth it?

Hope you are happy where ever you end up but this was not needed...

I discovered that you can't delete the 1st post of a thread even if you started it. What's left are tech posts I've made.

So in saying goodbye---let me add a final special word to my friends Randy, lendaddy and Brian K.

No need for formal response. Makes sense to prove your manhood to a bunch of blokes you've never met on the INTERNET with a bunch of gibberish. How many hours did he invest in this little excecise is beyond me, but one thing for certain I've gotten a lot of things done with my time since then.

I slept,

Had a few great nights going out

Spent time with family

Enjoyed my weekend doing things with my cars.

VS. Hovering over some computer worrying about what this @sshole RANDY P was conjuring up next. I'm sure he was a terror to the rest the clan over the last few days.

The only plausible explanation is that he is massively, massively insecure. Anything will set this guy ablaze.

What a horrible way to live.

Lynn,

So if going into the Pelican forum, which is one of the biggest assets a Porsche owner can have IMO, is "crawling into the slime" then I assume that you will be halting any and all production and sale of the Porsche hats on your website?

I would hate to see you "crawl into the slime" and actually end up making money on a copywritten article, like the 911 and Porsche profile car both are.

Speaking of therapy, have you ever thought of seeking professional help? I am serious... this behavour is a bit over the top.

RANDY P 11-30-2004 06:52 AM

I WILL NOT post here in the OT Forum in the future unless I am asked a question--like you just did. You guys hold the power. Use it

Mmmkayy- lemme test this out.

"Hey man, find a GOOD psychotherapist"

That's not a question, it's a statement. Have a nice day.

Does anyone else see the similiarity between Lynn's evaporating posts and the Wicked Witch of the West ...."I'm melting....."

Scooter 11-30-2004 08:03 AM

His posts aren't evaporating anymore, they are growing...three new posts on this page alone.

Talk about similarity: is it just me or does the Energizer Bunny come to mind...he keeps going and going....

Scott-

What happened to the 911?

I swore I saw you about 3(?) weeks ago getting onto 405N off of 85th / Kirkland. Tried to chase you down but got hit with traffic and I was off at 116th ST.

Mark Wilson 11-30-2004 08:27 AM

Maybe Lynn erased Scott's car.

I'm laughing my right now reading this.

Looks like after all that work he traded it in on a Lexus.. Owww.

Wonder if he's got any good parts left?

How's being back in TX treating you? Miss the cold and rain yet?

Yes it is true, I traded the p-car in on a Lexus for a daily driver. No worries, my days of being without a p-car should be limited. I do have some left-overs in the garage that I will be selling.

The Yankee thread is locked or they would be gone too. Don't know why you would even give any of this a second's thought?

If your wallet with your ID, name, website and personal photos fell into the outhouse hole, you probably wouldn't be too thrilled crawling down into the slime to retrieve it--but you probably would.

I spent 2 days, but it was very rewarding therapy. My crap is gone--all the slimey crap most of you Neocons posted is still here.

What about when people quoted your "crap" (words). . . that's got to suck for ya.

Lynn, fwiw, most of us here get into posting crap, dribble, slime .. .whatever. Just look at one of the random pict's threads. Point being, don't go all mental on us, just cuz youv'e posted some crap. Relax. . .it really isn't such a big deal.

Besides, you can't cover-up stinky crap by trying to bury it, by shovling MORE crap on top of it. ;)

rcecale 11-30-2004 08:41 AM

Hey! Here's an idea! How about we start another thread and post only things that have been poted by Lynn? We could make a sorta "tribute" to him.

Here's my favorite post from Lynn...

Yeah, I gotta come around after the annual Christmas pillaging I'm about to experience.

Bummer you sold though, your car was shaping up quite nicely.

I like this one:

I can't help but think - this sounds straight out of "BACK TO THE FUTURE!"

It's not like it was an SC or anything. ;)

island911 11-30-2004 10:12 AM

Yeah, that's just it. His Carrera was the closest to an SC-driving experience I've had in one of those bloated Carreras.

It musta been built in early 84;) . . . oh, and a smooooth shifting 915 (on a rebuilt by John Walker)

Mark Wilson 11-30-2004 10:33 AM

Hey, new movie idea. Let's call it "MasterbatEraser". It will be about a guy who erases himself.

Mark Wilson 11-30-2004 10:34 AM

and then makes new posts so he can erase them too.......

red ufo 11-30-2004 10:39 AM

You people make me rethink the whole idea of ever buying a 911.

Where you guys normal before the 911? Or after you bought it ya just went crazy and became what you are now? I don't want to buy a 911 and turn into you people, is there some type of V-8 anti-neocon garlic I can get from Pelican Parts?

Or perhaps I should buy a 911 to bring balance to the force of these crazied 911 owners. You got to be crazy to buy a streamlined love bug anyway right?

Mark Wilson 11-30-2004 10:43 AM

That may be a good idea. We really don't like you're kind around here. You're sort of......icky.......
