Some of you have some pretty messy ideals about politics but nevertheless, I'm proud to call you my friends. Most of you. (wink)

I have been dying for one of the corned beef sandwiches at the 79th Street Ale House, so I think we might swing by there. If I see any familiar faces, I'll be completely frightened.

Supe - where are the details? Come on dude, us married guys live for this sort of thing. We need gitty details - make it up if you must! Show us some pics. I hope you do better than Shaun (G9Girl). He had that southern belle in his lap and he threw-up on her. Don't do that!

I see your point, Kim. Perhaps if he loosened up a little, and then incorporated some pelvic thrusts.......

Oops. I'd better get going. Thanks for the well wishes. I'm sure it'll go fine. I'm just as sure there will be no photographic evidence. But I'll be happy to make up a wild story with just enough mystery for your minds to turn it into the Date of the Century.

Shaun did not ralph on his date! Did he? No way.

Y'know, I've noticed that life is actually better than the movies. It certainly is just as amusing, particularly around my office. No kidding. Not sure why people go see movies. The acting, when perfect, just resembles actual people having actual emotions. I watch people and listen to them. And they are just as engaging as the best DeNiro or Brando or Hepburn performance. I guess that's part of the reason I believe tonight will go well. I like people. Even Island.

Absolutely true. After a few years of marriage, sex is: "Hey Babe, got a few minutes?" That's because, with a kid about, a few minutes is all you have!

OK Supe...I know you love the place so let's try to get the name right...it's the 74th St. Ale House and I was there today after picking my car up from John. Had said corned beef sandwich and a couple of Diamond Knot IPA's.

New rotors, pads, hoses, sensors and fluid all around, horray for me.

Only missed you by a couple of hours...would have been fun to chat and report back to the fellas (my phone even takes photos). Sorry we missed you.

Look forward to the morning report at the XXX.

You are coming to the XXX tomorrow, right?

Ya'll need to read between the lines:

Check the Elephant Racing Suspension Clinic post...they were hugging when I tried to snap their picture...hence why Sup is smiling and Island is showing his "good finger"...

As far as what Ronin was doing...I can't say...it's embarassing.

Whoa...is it just me or does this just not sit right:

"But I would have time to run to the bathroom which I need to do anyway to rinse off the tear tracks on my face caused by the laughter. And as kc says, it's always time well spent."

Sup, why are you crying about that!?!?

Supe's probably still handcuffed and gagged. Hope she used the fuzzy cuffs, 'cause the real ones chafe something awful.

Er, so I've heard.

Okay, I guess I can still do most of the things I normally do with just one arm. Kidding.

I'll give you two versions. One is obviously made up. For Mike.

Met at a biker bar. Slammed several whiskeys and headed for the Kart track. On the way, was passed by a high speed chase and the bad guy was in a 914-6 which was clearly going to outclass the cop cruisers, so dropped down a gear and helped the good guys by pushing the bad guys into a bridge abutment. My lady friend was so exhilarated that we skipped Karting, grabbed a couple of roast beef sandwiches and headed for her place. She said something about having found a new exercise machine. That would turn out to be me, but that's not the best part. Got there and met her three roommates. All four are jaw-dropping supermodels. Two sets of twins, actually. Took me all night to wear them out. Kinda tired now, but certainly worth it of course. The made me promise to come by again in a few days, when they have recovered.

Okay, version 2:

This lady, rather pretty I'd say, quite thin and with a smile brighter than a camera flash is recently divorced as am I. Bad relationships are abusive in some way or another and take their toll on our psyches, and hers was especially abusive with an alcoholic deadbeat hubby. I knew this. Mine was no cake walk either, so I'm just happy that someone wants to hang with me.

Met at a mutual friend's workplace, restaraunt/lounge and discussed options. Headed for the 74th St Ale House and had the sandwich I've been craving. From there we went to a local casino for dancing. Music was good and we danced a bit but the thing we seemed to want to do was snuggle and chat. And snuggle and smile. It was a medicine I guess we both needed and chatting seems to be very easy for us. Hand holding. It was kinda like high school again. Simple pleasures. Neither of us had access to an unoccupied home where rubbing pee-pees would be convenient and although a motel suggestion would have probably worked (this is the prurient content of this version), I was just happy for the nice company and didn't want to complexify things at this time. Had a nightcap after dancing at a quieter Irish bar. She agreed to be available for spending more time together and I think we're both just happy to be 'free at last' and with the very welcome discovery that maybe there's positive, healing relationships to be had. Candidly, we looked like a couple of kittens on the couch at the dance/casino place. Couldn't get enough of the positive regard we were giving each other. It was very nice. Not as exhilarating as version one, but you can choose your favorite story.
