My productivity level has hit an all-time low

Is there any way I could possibly be banned from this forum between the hours of 8am and 7pm? Maybe we could just disconnect OT for awhile so I can get some work done!!!!

I'd leave, but I don't have the self-control. I have this horrible habit of constantly opening new tabs and the first URL that pops up is always OT, so I have to look at it. I mean, come on, where else can you find this kind of entertainment?

I hear you, it has certainly been active and "entertaining" the last couple of days.

I'm getting nothing done either.

Yeah I've been slacking off at work too. What's worse is that a few days ago I had to take a polygraph for a job I'm applying for . One of the questions was, "While at work do you use the internet for non-work related activity?", and another, "Do you steal time from your current employer?"

Of course I answered honestly but they might as well have asked me if the sky was blue - the needle still would have jumped all over the graph. Talk about stress.

Ha ha - I was thinking that myself yesterday, and my company is the kind that would monitor web usage too. They already archive and monitor all the email.

My solution is to come and go in OT. Sometimes a topic gets really interesting, like now with the Schavio stuff, and I waste a lot of time on the board. Other times I stay away.

I control our web logging and have considered blocking pelican just because...nevermind. I'm incriminating myself

Anyway - I don't do it from "work" I do it from my home computer somehow...

What kind of job has you take a polygraph ? That sounds very Orwellian. I hope you were interviewing for FBI, CIA, Halliburton, Raytheon or SAIC...
