Been a pass. doing over 180 at las vegas speedway. I did over 155 at that speedway in the same car-me driving, but I did over 160 myself in the viper 2 weeks ago

I used to race bikes there 20 years ago and turn 1 separated the men from the boys. Unfortunately, I was one of the boys. My CBR used to come out of the banking just about at the redline in 6th ~145 mph. I would carry that speed down the straight and then turn 1 was nearly pure terror for me. The fast guys would just lift off and fling themselves into the turn.

Me, I hit the brakes and stuck my torso and helmet up into the airstream to slow down. That was quite a wind blast.

I loved the infield portion of the course at TWS, except guard rails kill guys on bikes when they fall. I was much better at slower tracks.

Yamaha RZV500 - That's the alloy framed job, isn't it? I haven't seen one of those for years. I bet it was a hoot when the power cam on.

In 1983 a cop clocked me at 135 in a 35 while chasing me after running a stop sign in my chevelle. Man, did I PAY for that one.
