149 in a 1969 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe I-90 in Montana...yes I said Fiat. Dyno'd at 187 rwhp (nothing stock) and weighed in at just under 2000 lbs. 140 speedo with the needle past the high beam indicator light reading 7,100 in 5th on the tach. Also averaged 124 for 2 hours during the same trip. This was in 1979 during the days when there were no tickets for high speed, but safe driving in Montana.

153 speedo reading in 95 rx7 r1, stable as if at 75, felt sucked down to the freeway. This was at 1;45 A.M. on a Sat. night in the slow lane after 30 minutes or so of watching packets of cars pass me at 75-85 mph. No CHP chasing them, so I kicked down to 5th between packets and the car was still pulling when I let up to exit on Poinsettia. Most memorable was the sensation of passing the packet of traffic, which had passed me prior to getting on it , like they were parked. Incidentally - no passenger, no alcohol.

143 in the Carrera. The rubber center clutch went later that day. And 150 in a Ford GT, felt like a 100 in the 911.. Braking in that car requires a seat belt or you get to know what a bug on a windshield feels like. Yes it does stop that hard!

Hmmm.... around 130 (indicated) in my 66 911 one night on my way to work.
As a passenger, about 180 in a Nextel Cup car around Daytona last spring with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. What a rush!!

Don't know.
The speedo in my old 75 Bug only went to 100 but the needle was buried to the oil light and the noise of the engine and Webers was extremley loud inside the car. Had a real nice tail wind in NM

Very young very stupid very lucky to be alive....somewhere north of 155 on a Honda Hurricane East bound on I-64 racing a Early 90s Corvette.... My feet blew off the front pegs and were pinned against the rear passenger pegs, my ass pushed back so far I was holding on with my finger tips and could not reach the clutch or brake, finally got up enough courage to loosen my grip enough on the throttle hand to allow it to go to idle then coast to a stop several miles later...had to pull over on the side of the road for 30 mins to stop shaking

120+ At Pocono Speedway, north course. Yippie, that was fun.
100 on the south course, but boy did that feel like 200 on those steep banks!

Fastest I've ever been in a car (not very compared to some) an indicated 125+ in my '79 sc. I've hit 120+ a couple times the car is very smooth and wants to go for more! My 1976 BMW 2002 was probably about done at an indicated 105mph, but that car was a brick as far as aerodynamics goes...
