8 Hours???? Are you F'n me? Ok, I usually get my eight on Saturday night, but otherwise I hover between 4-6 depending on the stress that week. Heck it's 9:30 here now and I just finished raking the yard, the bed isn't even a thought yet. Not saying you shouldn't get your 8, just saying F you that you can

Yeah I miss sleep. Even on weekends I have a tough time staying asleep past 6:00 am. Normal weekday is bed at 10:30 and up at 4:30 am. I don't need an alarm clock.

Ahhh retirement...I love it. The usual routine is bed at 11ish, up at 7ish. But gee, if I'm really tired, like 6-8 hours of hard physical labor in the yard of 1 1/2 acres, or just generally pissed about things, bored with TV or whatever? Hell, I can go to bed at 9, wake up at 7 or so. The last time I really went without sleep was to be able to be in the Marque parking area of last year's historic races at PIR. Marque parking had been moved to the infield, they wanted you there at 8:00 A.M. This meant that Cindy & I had to get up at "Oh dark-thirty", since I live 100 freeway miles South. By the time we made it home, it was 20 hours later. If it's the same Marque parking arrangement this year? I'll find something else to do that weekend. At my advanced age, I need my sleep.

I remember single life with no kids.

Last night was about 3.5 hours, night before was about 6. If I want more than 6 hours I go out of town. Some nights its the kids, others it's work.

You get used to it. I haven't seen the inside of the gym in 3 years. I'm envious.

Up at 4:45/5 for the 5 minute walk to the gym. I always liked being up and outside when everyone is still asleep-almost like I have the town to myself. Of course I must be in bed by 9:30.
which reminds me (damn Gran Turismo)........

About 6-7 hours, usually depends on what I am doing. In bed by midnight, up at 6:30, shower and then go to work. Weekends are a little different, I like to sleep as much as I can and stay out late as well.

I get around 7 now that my son is a year and a half old and sleeping better.

No way I'd sacrifice sleep to work out. I go to the gym at lunch time.

Get the normal 6-7 sleep routine of a high school student. Up at 6:30 back to bed at 11-12 Like to go out on the weekends and party hard so really don't catch up much on the weekends. Holiday's are much appreciated. there should be a pelican holiday....

You can sleep when you're dead.

I go to bed around 11pm and get up at 5ish pretty much daily - no alarm clock.

It sucks.

I work long hours, so I try to cram as much into "my" time as I can.

Typically, I get around 5-6hrs a night, but I cannot seem to sleep in on the weekend. I only seem to get more sleep when I'm not at home (ie, vacation).

Let's see: I joined this board in May of '02 and it's almost May '05. Yep, haven't slept in three years.
