Bravo, Moses! Obviously, there are those who think it's best if the state rears our children. Then there are we, the right wing demagogs, who think that is the parent's responsibility. Oh well, I'm done with my fight with public screw-all counselors....my final line to one of those a-holes was to inform him that if I wanted my daughter to screw, get a free abortion, cuss, drink, and take drugs, she couldn't have found a better teacher than the ones she was getting in high school... Long live the teacher's union. Every day, more and more parents become aware of what's happening in our taxpayer funded schools.

Am I going senile or was there a post by Moses that just dissappeared? Forget all what the post said but agreed with a lot of it.
Wolf, glad its working out but still do not agree with bringing in the police on this one. The state or govt would love to be responsible for all aspects of our life but the persons who know best are still the parents. JoeA

Best thing you can do is put a little research into her freinds, or potential freinds. Try to find the good ones, and invite them over more often. The people you hang out with, will make abig difference. I'm 19, and was fairly isolated from 14-17, but then started getting a bit more socialy invovled. I changed quite a bit, from being extremely shy to very open, reason? I hung out with people that where very open. Try to do some research into finding good freinds. Do't force them on someone, but if you see one, do what you can.
