Why would you want to use SQL server? It can't scale.

My former employer was a SQL Servier 2000 shop. That was my first experience with an enterprise database platform. Since then Ive been working almost exclusively in Oracle and DB2. I still know more about SQL Server than both Oracle or DB2 at this point, but I would probably take either over MS SQL Server. Oracle for sure. FWIW, we never had any security issues with SQL Server.

E: Couldn't find package mssql

Hrm... looks like I'll have to stick with MySQL and Postgres

(I do server support at Dell... 2k3 SP1 caused headaches on factory installed OS's...)
