Riddle me this: Who will we miss?
The riddler from Batman, Frank Gorshin Dies at 72...... "He put up a valiant fight with lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia,"
I assume he was smoker. Too bad, he was a very interesting guy. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050518/ap_en_ot/obit_gorshin ![]()

I remember seeing him on Ed Sullivan's Toast of the Town when I was a kid.
He turned me on to impressionism with his ability to not just sound like, but to look like who he was impersonating. Some of my favs of his were Kirk Douglas, Jimmy Gagney, and Bert Lancaster. He'd turn his back, adjust his collar, work up his hair, contort his face, then slowly turn around for all to see. He'd not say anything for a bit, just stand there and let us marvel at the face of his subject. He could nail them. Amazing. Both true artists, but I much preferred watching Gorshin's work over Rich Little's. A decent singing voice, too. Indeed, interesting fellow. . Oh, nifty thread subject, too. ![]()
