Promoting on-line dot com business
I lost my job last week and I'd like to promote a small on-line business that i currently have to sell books.
What are some good ways to promote an on-line bookstore? My inventory is very limited at this point, but I'd like to earn some extra cash to pay bills while i'm out of work. any advice/helpful criticism from people who are running their own DOTCOM would be highly appreciated. thanks in advance. |

ebay would be one option, another would be to participate in relevant forums and gently introduce your product as opportunity arises, ala Chuck Moreland/Elephant Racing. It's a crowded net out there - tread lightly!

I know with my bizz, as Thom suggested I got involoved in a bunch of forums that are directly or indirectly related to our products. It seems tobe getting our name out there. I advertize on two of the larger forums for about $50.00 a month.
