In all of my travels, I've never actually been exposed to this. I have only read about it. So I would be forced to take your word for it, but it is not "our" attitude, at least any "our" that I have been a part of. Of course since most people I meet are clothed, maybe I'm just not aware of their views on nudity(?)

As for rape, yes it has a component of dominance. That should go without saying. So does a lot of so-called "normal" sexuality, for better or worse. And that rapists are sociopaths, have issues, etc.., same as above. But to claim that rape has "nothing to do w/ sex", as I have often read as some sort of bizarre/feminist/PC screed, is to deny that which we do not want to admit about sex. It is as basic as breathing that all creatures would like to be able to choose their partners from all available other creatures, and in practice this is unrealistic for most everyone. In people w/ "other issues", (like all criminal/psycho-sociopath/etc. situations), they simply lash out at the "injustice" of not getting whatever they want at any particular moment in any circumstance. Lack of self-control, human id, etc....

I'm sorry that I got into this, but it is just something that is like fingernails on a blackboard to my brain.

Been to a few nude beaches - hotties-o-plenty and I wish the thing grew a tab upon seeing them. The fact is, it is rather tough to pop a boner with all that attention! Maybe thats just me.

Ancient Viking's didn't have a word for raping their women. It was unheard of. Rape is a violent act but it is also a sexual act. If it was a question of just violence than a bat upside the head or a gash to the throut would surfice. It is sexual in nature for sure. Does porn and nudity influence it? Who knows, but if you stuck a bunch of folks together naked, I would be willing to bet that the scum bags would be the first to cover their junk.
