A three horse slant with living quarters. Not a car you say, but I've got my Porsche and really don't have time to drive two. I've got a vintage LS400 for relaxed road trips, an LX 470 for when the road is either muddy or snowy and an F350 to pull the 3 horse slant. I wouldn't mind a speedster but my road would eat it up if I ever drove it.

If it's for investment purposes, and good, original open 356 has gone up nearly 50% in the last 12 to 18 months. A good original Speedster is already out of your ($70K) price range.

Audi A8. Nicest looking sedan out there, and I'd be satisfied with 330 hp.

for me, i would go this route. the cost of admission is well under the 70k, and i could buy a diesel truck to fetch it anywhere in the country.

One car for $70K? Got to go with the 993 Turbo.
Now how about a mix of cars and trucks - street, track, hauling, working - with a $70,000 budget? |
