How to save gas, or there are a lot of idiots out there

Another Darwin candidate. What is bad is that there are 29 bids on it so far with 1 day to run, and the price is up to $29 for a .25c piece of 2X6.

He is rubbing his two brain cells together to make this work...

DETGEP Industries Gas Saving Device ! L@@K ! NO RESERVE

DETGEP Industires (Dominant Exclusive Technology Gearing Enterprise Products) brings you the super efficient DETGEP Gas Saving Device !
Proven to work 200% to INFINITE% better than the magnetic gas savers and the air intake gas saving systems like the Turbulator, Turbinator, Magnotator, Gassavorator and other devices that create a tropical storm in your intake system.

Magnets have NO effect on gasoline.
Turbilatrons only make your wallet lighter !

Our system REALLY works and is adjustable !

The device might need some slight easy modifications to fit your car but anyone can do it in less than 10minutes !

ADJUSTABLE! Our device can be adjusted to save from 0% to 90% of the fuel YOUR CAR USES ! *item might differ from picture slightly **Sold as is, no warranties

On Aug-17-05 at 06:20:54 PDT, seller added the following information:

Item might be dangerous and cause death, do not use in a real car. Writing this cause there are some retards in the world.

A true Darwin candidate would make the device from a 2X10 to block both pedals and reduce the drag created by those inefficient brakes.

It sold for $41! A block of wood...

Over 100 questions from people asking how it worked.

Only in America on Ebay...

There's a new subdivision going in down the street; I'll be able to considerably undersell you.

I think people know it's a joke, looking at the questions.

Q: Will this save my clutch at all???? I tend to wear my clutch pretty fast being as i drive like i buy.

A: I tend to wear pants.

Most of the people in on the bidding seem to have encouraged an unfortunate sheep to keep going.

Heh heh, that's pretty funny.

Here's an idea from years ago that one of my mom's girlfriends had suggested....No kidding. She had noticed that the gas gauge would show a higher level when the car was going downhill. Her idea was to jack the car up in the rear so the gas level would always read higher........???WTF??? I was probably a teen when she suggested this...I still remember the look on my mother's face when this came out of her mouth.
