^^^I know. I know............I went to the 'net' b/c I was sick of all the girls who just 'look' good ,but nothing more. So I felt that if we take the initial physical attraction out (meaning that I can't sleep with her too quickly) and spend time getting to know the 'real' person......that that would be much healthier.

I'm screwed!

There's nothing wrong with working out or wanting to be fit or whatever. Just make sure it's based in what you want (the two of you assuming you're a couple) not what society has taught you that you should or have to be. In a way, be more selfish, do things for you...not what you THINK others expect you to be or do.

I would suggest you find a crazy stripper & let her move in with you for a couple of years. That's what I did when I was your age. That, combined with the therapy afterward, cured me.

And this super intellegent super model will be looking for guys on the internet? Not likely. These women do exist, but they have boyfriends. Find a girl to pass the time then snatch up one of the great ones when the next one becomes single. But act fast, there are 100 guys doing waiting too.

I've dated strippers. Been there, DONE that. Not ever again..........

Personaly I like the cute to hot girls not the 'super model' types...they don't really appeal to me.

Girls like Lucy Pinder...Good looking, hot bodies........I've dated a bunch like that.........K has a gorgeous face.......just not the body...........(oh I'm gonna get yelled at for this........)

Do you think this could be part of the problem, over and above the physical thing? I know that I find a woman much less attractive if she has serious self-esteem issues, no matter how hot she is. If I know I'm going to have to spend a substantial amount of time reassuring her over issues that don't exist anywhere but in her head, I lose interest immediately.

Just a different take on this topic.

^^^Yes, I think this is part of the problem. Infact, she told me she also finds me 'intimidating' sexually. I'm confident, and derive great pleasure in 'pleasing' my partner shall we say.........but I always make sure she's at ease......she's told me that she get's 'shy' during sex with me because I am so open and foreward...........

Personally I think your ego needs a severe beating.

That way you'll realize how lucky you are and do whatever it takes to keep this girl, because you'll be afraid to lose her.

^^^ Is it wrong of me to be afraid to make the 'wrong' decision? I mean, this is a huge decision for me, for US, and I want to make sure I'm doing right by her, and me. Happiness should go both ways yeah?

If I had such a huge ego, would I have even bothered asking a few questions, or seeking other's advice on this subject? No. I wouldn't, I just dump her and tell myself I can do better.

I had a good friend of mine recently get engaged. While he was pondering his decision to marry the girl, the guys were giving all of the usual advice. Most of it boiled down to "Don't do it unless you are ready."

My advice was just the opposite. I said very few guys are "ready" to get married when they do. The real decision is: "Is it worth losing the girl over not getting married?"

I know you're not speaking of marriage, but look at the flip side. You are happy but have some lingering doubts. My experience is that any relationship has these doubts. Are they ones that you can live with? Will you regret breaking up with this girl more than staying with her?

i want to change my advice. ***** it. try the relationship on for size. who knows, after she gets to know you SHE may hate your arse. too early in the game to make the call. i mean if she is physically repulsive then diff story...at this point.
