Porsche Crest Digital camera battery life?

How long do camera batteries live? We have had our camera about three years(Kodak Easyshare DX4330).
It will not turn on even though the charger tells me it is fully charged.
Thanks,

Depends on the type of battery, but after 3 years it's pretty much kaput.

I just got the DX7590.. the new battery in it should last about 250+ photos.

Batteries do have a life, and with yours being three years old, your battery might be out of life. You could probably get a new one for $30 or less.

Look on Ebay for batteries like that. Lots cheaper than the store, usually at least half price. Also a good place for cell phone and blackberry batteries.

I picked up two sets of batteries AND a charger with case at Best Buy today for 35.00. The old batteries were kaput, to say the least.
