Quantum Mechanics Wrong - New Energy Source

http://education.guardian.co.uk/higher/research/story/0,,1627657,00.html
Quote:
Randell Mills, a Harvard University medic who also studied electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, claims to have built a prototype power source that generates up to 1,000 times more heat than conventional fuel.

Is this another case of fraud similar to "Cold Fusion" hype?

Time will tell.

My primary nuke professor's take on nuclear energy:

"What is the size of a critical mass from nuclear fission? - About the size of a large grapefruit."

"What is the size of a critcal mass for nuclear fusion?" - He then pointed out the window at the sun.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

He was an advocate for nuclear fission power. And I have to agree. It is mature technology. Note that _France_ is one of the only places in the world that uses Nuclear Fission for most of it's electrical power needs.
