Really? I have a iBook, and I find it absurdly easy to make a mix CD. Numerous times I have had to leave on a road trip in 5 minutes, and decided to make myself a CD. In 5 min, I'm out the door with a burned CD in my hand - sometimes I think it takes longer to get the CD into the changer. (especially if the trunk's already packed. )

I guess I mean in compressed (mp3 or similar) format.

I have made CD's with wav files from iTunes, but I have been spoiled by the quantity that compression allows.

'Only' 15 songs on a CD seems like a waste of time to me now

Okay, yeah I see what you mean. You can't play the protected AAC files on anything besides iTunes or an iPod.

Well you can burn the CD using the AAC files, then rip it all back to mp3...if you have that kind of free time.
