What car is this from?
My Dad used to wrence on Porsches when I was about that tall. I have had this plate since then. I know it is at least 35years old but don't from what car it came from. It is funny that I still have it after all these years and I always told people that is is my starting piece, all I needed was the rest of the car. Any ideas?

My guess is that it's from a 356, more specifically than that, I have no idea. Maybe it's an original from some sort of speedster. Some restorer will probably pay $5000 or something. Hahah, good luck.

1969 911 or 912 with the dark brown exterior and camel interior, may have been a EU delivery option. I also have a set.

I'm glad I didn't get the expected answer, "it fits a Porsche"

356.
The one on the decklid of the '65 - 66 911 was two pieces, riveted together in the middle, and it was longer, with more extended letters.
