I kinda like it...the retro muscle car thing is really big right now...

Course will have to see a prototype to really get an idea. Cool drawing though.

Too many concepts stolen from too many collectable cars. Try again.

How about this, another of his idears on paper that we are planning to build. We are basing this on on a RT with AWD (and it does drive nice.

BTW, Fred spent time with Zora Arkus-Duntov at the SEMA show a while back and showed him another rendering, the ZR-C1 is the result of that time.

Top notch drawings, but they're both a bit much for me. Retro never did it for me, I like cars that look forward, not back. Judging from the success of the PT Cruiser, Beetle, Mustang, etc, there are many people that dig the retro look though.

I like yours way better than that though. Ugh. Reminds me of the '80s kit to put the Rolls Royce grille on the VW Bugs.

I think that's what it's based on.

So Byron, you're talking of building "kustoms" for those who cruise the neon row, "making the scene" down there in Florida? Carol Doda bodies atop a modern chassis? If so, go for it...those folks will buy anything, even watches costing more than $300K. If you're talking of something that will turn the crank of a true gearhead? Better do better...

Interesting idea, will the kit car haters (baby jesus cry) crowd like it? No, but that's not your market either.

Atractive from the drawing, but i realy wonder how the rear end is going to come off. Would I buy? No, can't even afford the Vette to build it on.

That's not a 550. What the hell is that? Is it coming or going. It looks like a Magnum with the hood from a 911. Nope, won't tickle the testies of people whole love 550s.

I don't mind criticism, but if you're going to do it at least spell check.

There was a C4 Vette rebody kit at SEMA based on the '62 model.

I wonder how big the market is for Vette rebodies?

First drawing looks great!

But whatever you do, don't bastardize it with 20" chome wheels and rubberband like that wacko Foose.
