				OT Contributor of the Year

Over on the technical forum they're discussing nominations for various "________ of the Year" awards. I don't want anyone here left out of the ignomy they so richly deserve.

If I had to nominate someone for being the most lucid, charismatic, insightful and compelling contributor here, well in my mind that would be Superman. Whadda you guys think? Oh, and I think he'd be high on the list of efective troublemakers, except I think there's legitimate competition for that spot.

Aw c'mon Colin. Christmas spirit and all that. Okay, I'll cheer you up by nominating you. You can be the contributor who is most disturbed when someone holds an economic theory that disagrees with yours. Or maybe we could just offer accolades for holding tight to your staunch conservative beliefs at the epicenter of liberalism and education. Anything. I'm sure you deserve a "_________ of the Year" and I'll support you as long as I don't know it's untrue.

I'd suggest a category for the most controversial psycho chick post, but then this thread would get deleted and then someone would post asking what happened to the original thread and I'd start getting angry-whiney phone calls @ 12:00am again so I think I won't.

Are you wearing the woolen underwear again to day, Colin? I get plenty of attention. I think it might be my need for discussion that you find frustrating.

Okay okay. There's potential for the insight/lucidity/charisma/wisdom crown to be placed on a head other than Superman's (yeah, right). So, I'd nominate Moses. Even though the lazy fellow is probably sleeping right now. And I'd like to acknowledge Jeff Higgins. Those are the guys whose thinking is sometimes on the conservative side, sort of, but who seem to have pretty good brains.

For the true Defenders of Reality, I'm lookin' at Stevepaa, Techweenie, Rodeo and Cool_Chick. Troublemaking crown goes to Mark Wilson again this year.

Here's to you. ![]() Sup, thanks, but I can not accept. I can not explain things clearly sometimes, others are far more lucid, superior, in that capacity. And don't need to edit their posts three times to fix grammar errors. Or misspellings

For the Hunter S Thompson award for vaguely lucid, disturbingly amusing posts, I hereby nominate Tabs. Do I hear a second for my nomination?

I would have to vote for the now absent Overpaid Slacker = 1st place and a tie for second place between Jeff Higgins and Lendaddy. (Higgins kind of creeps me out sometimes because too many of his opinions are identical to mine

) Of course all the rest of the right thinking posters deserve honorable mention.
