Can I capture a still picture from Windows Media Player - and how?

You can use "printscreen" to capture the screen image and paste it into an image program. But you'll need to adjust the settings on Windows Media Player first.

Is there a way to do this screen capture of a Windows Player movie without buying additional software?

Craig,
I just sent you an e-mail. Windows Movie Maker lets you import video. Once imported, at the bottom right of the video pre-view pane is a button that looks just like a camera.... Takes pics just like this. ![]()
