I had one for several years until it quit taking a charge, it was nice when I drop something into the nether regions of my engine, and need a nice bright focused beam to see it.

Say you are working on something on the underside of your dash and whatnot.

DO NOT leave the spot light turned on while faceing down on your seat.

The only indication was a strange smell. By then it was too late.

It might work on vampires. You might want to hold onto it.

I have a somewhat smaller (actually carryable) one that I actually use; mainly to investigate bump-in-the-night incidents in the yard/neighborhood (coyotes mainly), camping etc. It has a regular LED flashlight in the handle too, which is pretty neat as you can walk down a path with that and then "blast" anything that moves with the "big gun" light.

That big mofo you got, though, looks like a re-gift candidate to me

Surefire makes the best lights! The best legal weapon you can carry in your car! Those long aluminum flashlights the cops carry are more than just illuminators. I like the long slender aspect that it fits right between the door and the seat ready for use.
