Mull, joe, Fint ...at least you see the threat but are just as bad in spouting the conservative mantra

This whole issue of impeachment for wipetapping is about which political faction in DC has the power. It is designed to creat a ruckus and make the reigning power look bad. But in the end nothing will come of it.

For you see this is the way it works Bushys NS advisor came to him an says this is what the NSA can do to help gather intel that might help stop another terrorist attack. Bushy says OK. Can you imagine the outcry if another attack took place and Bushy didn't use evey means at his disposal. The Dems would be crying why didin't he wiretap?

This is all about the Dems trying to increase their Poll numbers and the Media to sell advertising. It is nothing but hot air simply because this is Govt Bureaucracy sponsored and sanctioned activity.

If Albert Gore were the President he would be wire tapping as well...the stakes are too high not too.

Also you have to realize that every President since FDR has in some way abused power. Nixon was forced to resign because his abuse was for personal political gain. Bushy etall abuses have been in the perceived National Interest.

Been on call for the last 18 hours - rather tired. Tried to get a grip on tabs´post with my lousy English. Read it slowly twice till I thought I understood correctly the message.

Then turning to dd74´s reply, expecting something profound or perhaps hostile. Instead I read "do you do garages ?" I AM very tired on the border of silly - but I am still trying to stop giggling. About the most well placed and funny lines I have read here.

And like the proverbial buffet, some things are REALLY great and you go back again and again for them. Others, not so much.
