I was in a Walmart a few years ago. My wife and I are in the checkout with our son who was about 8 or 9 at the time. This couple is behind us and they are bickering back and forth. I can half hear it while talking to my wife but ignore it. Then the dude raises his voice, he says something along the lines of, shut up b!tch! Or I will punch you in the face again.
I spun around immediatly and shot the dude a look. He did not see me but she did and she looked really scared when she realized someone might step in, like it was gonna bring her a good beating later. I then looked around to see if anyone else around me was as amazed as I, everyone was just minding their own business like nothing happened.
I looked at my wife, she was pale and looked like she was gonna jump this dude. I looked around again, nothing no one cared. This was the norm I guess.
I turned around and minded my own business much to my own discust. I would have preferred to punch this crackhead trailertrash peice of crap in the face. The unfortunate part was that she would get the retaliation afterwards. I decided to stay out of it and spare her a beating. I have not been to a local Wal-mart after that. My kid does not need to see that crap.
On a more related note. Flying this past week I ended up sitting next to a 23 year old girl that was very attractive and smart to boot. Finishing up a 4 year degree and on her way home from Vegas for a fun week. We talked through the whole flight and I found she had a boyfriend that was an insurance adjuster and working his way up the chain in the insurance industry. She seemed really nice. Then she stood up and had a tramp stamp. Does anyone not have a tattoo these days?
I told a 25 year old co-worker we will always be in touch because I will treat him to some rounds on his 55th birthday. He is covered from head to toe and I want to see him when he is older..... and laugh at him. I told him this too.
