Those things should definitely be banned.

Paintball. Those should also be banned. They hurt.

What else can we force upon the people? Bans are fun, aren't they?

Geez, CC, you take this stuff way too seriously. Maybe you should consider Taster's Choice. It has all the flavor of instant coffee, without the caffine.

1000 fps pellet guns are routine. They're excellent small game rifles. Very accurate, and quiet.

Books? Nope been tried before. Besides, almost no one would notice, since no one reads books any more.

Things to ban, things to ban, things to ban....hmmmmmm....

Soy milk! Yeah, that stuff is just awful!

I like to use opposite effect logical extremes to illustrate and showcase the ludicrous nature of certain arguments.

Perhaps that's why we disagree so..... Extremes are not realistic nor accurate. So to me, it doesn't demonstrate anything except a heretical-based argument, not based in reality.

I would ban gross stuff given to our beef, etc. The whole meat industry is just disgusting if you ask me. Go amish meat!

Nathans_Dad 12-30-2005 05:01 AM

Is a cow called beef while it is still alive? I thought it was beef only after it was dead...

Yeah, let's ban sausage! If you've ever seen it being made, you know what I mean. Especially hot dogs!

In Chihuahua, they tried to pass off, as a breakfast delicacy, bacon wrapped around 1/2 a hot dog.

Chorizo con tocino. They ain't fooling anyone!

I'm not talking about banning meat....

Is this an example of your "extreme" to prove some point that injecting cows with disgusting stuff is "awesome?"

red-beard 12-30-2005 05:15 AM

I'd never feed a hotdog to a cow. Well, not an all beef one. That would be just wrong.

Nathans_Dad 12-30-2005 05:40 AM

Ever see what they fertilize vegetables with?? Ugh, it's disgusting!! I heard it was the shyt of the cows that they inject disgusting things into!! Man, I'm never eating vegetables ever again!

And don't even get me started on what fish eat!! OMG, I think I'm gonna throw up!!

cool_chick 12-30-2005 06:12 AM

It's so gross, isn't it nathans_dad.

That would be called Mad Cow's disease.

red-beard 12-30-2005 06:19 AM

Hmmm. You may be right. They may use brains and spines in hotdogs, now. They used to only use lips, snouts and a-holes.

I am right. Cows are herbavores. Any animal product fed to them will bring about mad cow disease.

No. They are herbivores. There are statistical links between Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) passing from one cow to another by eating the brain/spinal tissue of another, that is infected with the same. Just the eating alone does not create the disease.
