I can see that the two of you would work well together. Hope that this lovers quarrel ends soon...

I think you guys are onto something here. Consider how this next statement could be considered true:
"Teen pregnancy is caused by capitalism."

Supe,
I would see it a bit differently. Should CC get Mul in a headlock, secure some handcuffs and a gag, the statement could be: "Another conservative screwed" ![]() At least it might be fun to watch and who knows, could result in another film for Mul and a Pelican first! Joe A

I'll hold the camera. I'll help with the gag also.

If she can take down Mul, anyone in the area might be fair game. Sure you want to take that risk? You might end up IN the movie as well and you might not be on top...

The FBI was relatively stable for the last thirty or so years, task wise, and in fact saw increasing numbers, and increasing budgets all during the Clinton years. As an aside, Clinton added about 2500 (net) armed federal agents throughout government each year he was in office, at least for his first term. Yet, when their colossal failure to protect America occured on September 11th, 2001; there was no price paid by them, or any other government agency that shared at least part of the blame for the failure. What we must look at now, in my opinion, is the performance of the federal government after 9/11, including congress and the judicial branch; most know of the continuing failure of the Bush Junta. I think we must give both the congress and the judicial branches a capital F for their performances in passing grotesquely unConstitutional laws, which Bush joyously signed for the extra power it gave him; and the judiciary for not ruling them unConstitutional in toto. The late William Renquist even reiterated the thinking of all totalitarian courts when he trotted out the latin phrase that means, in time of war, the law is silent." It seems to me that all genuine Americans need to work diligently on getting the federal government under control and obedient to the law; and cut out our team vs. your team childdishness so strongly encouraged by various party hacks, particularly those on talk radio. |

Closer to the truth, though, is that those of you who are warmongering, bloodthirsty monsters; want to continue the myth that America was caught sleeping on December 7th, 1941; and because of the mythical lessons learned then, must maintain a military that costs Americans more than the next 27 countries worldwide added together spend on defense. Then, you want to use that military for fascist military adventures all around the globe, spreading your milk of human kindness whereever and whenever you wish to do so. I say, hell no, it's unAmerican, and fosters a more dangerous federal government each moment it's permitted to continue. For a short history lesson, please continue reading. Roosevelt baited both the Germans and the Japanese into initiating a war for nearly 2 and a half years before the Japanese finally bit. America had been on a war footing that whole time with industries already ramped up, and on the day of the Japanese attack every anti-aircraft battery in Pearl Harbor was in full operation 8 minutes after the first bombs fell, most were firing sooner than that. The only thing about the attack on Pearl Harbor that was a surprise was the direction from which the attack was launched. |
