This is great !! I've finally found where all the short membered tire-kickers hang out. This by far the most entertaining dribble I've seen in a long time...and much of it by folks who cars would just see the back of this one all day long.
I drove this excellent car in early December 2005, and got pulled over by the cops on my test drive !! The owner moves cars that would make you all snap your little carrots. All wholesalers should be as ameanable and forthright as 'Brian'. Good guy ; he's done so many local folks right and honestly. I'm not in the market for a 911 at this time but this one would be a fine choice...seemed perfect for the track ...and wow, solid and nicely put together by an obvious enthusiast previously. I've driven my share of air suckers; this one pulled exceptionally great. Nice car...take it from someone who has ACTUALLY SEEN AND DRIVEN IT. Its one thing to have a healthly dose of skepticisim...but you pussies take the cake; calling shots from as far as 3000 miles away. Amazing !!! Look forward to more of it. Gosh, I really feel sorry for all you sad, miserable people. Can't wait until one of your cars go up for sale...I'll make a point of returning the favor in similar fashion. ![]() |

So you went for a "test drive" a couple of months ago, but you are "not in the market for a 911 at this time ..." What were you "testing," your new patent leather shoes? Ok gotta run, I'm late for a test drive of a Maybach. I'm not in the market for one, mind you, I just want to .... errrr .... you know, test it. Later I'll scour the internet to see if anyone has anything bad to say about the car, and call them pussies if they do. |

I’ve sold a couple of cars via this board, the only difference was that I was upfront and honest. I was the actual owner of the cars and I didn’t use multiple names. Sure people nit picked, I just didn’t waste time responding to that sort of thing and I didn’t need to use several screen names to do it, nor did I engage in personal attacks.
This is a good place to sell a car, you have an audience who are big time enthusiasts of these cars and there are always buyers and sellers here. The down side is there are always many very knowledgeable people here and they’re happy to point out the flaws in your car for sale. In my case, since I was not being deceptive, I had no issue with that. I guess it really ticked off the seller of the car in question that the inconsistencies in his story were exposed here. Which, as happens so often on the internet, the seller felt empowered since its an anonymous board and took it upon himself to lash out, which in turn causes everyone else to fire back. It’s a vicious cycle which could have been avoided with some integrity and some indifference by the seller.

Rodeo...Please do... and make sure you ask them if they've driven or seen it in person also... have you? Are you one of these pussies ?
Nope, not in the market for a black one, looking for silver or white 911 with mods...but was told by a few others to go 'drive' this one. Is that Ok with you? Do people in your neck of the woods need an invitation to drive a car with no intention of buying it? BTW, I've driven a slew of Maybachs too...on a track in NY in 2003....didn't end up buying one though. ![]() Last edited by UBERbenz; 02-22-2006 at 06:13 AM.. |

"I got pulled over by the cops on the test drive"--wow, if that is not a testament to a car being fast, I don't know what is. By your yardstick, the Lincoln Towncar with missing hubcaps surrounded by 3 police cars which I passed on the shoulder of the highway must have been breaking the sound barrier! ![]()

I'm a international spy ... and a fighter pilot. I also love children, and volunteer my free time down at the homeless shelter.
When I have a spare moment, I join internet boards to defend cars I test drove two months ago, when I was not in the market for a new car. I'm all about truth and justice ....

"Nope, not in the market for a black one, looking for silver or white 911" Wow you got stopped by the cops on your test drive!? Hell that seals it! I'll buy the car! Steve

Really don't think the car has changed in 2 months (its winter here and the car is in storage; did you fools think he parks it outside?).... again, have any of you seen this car lately...or at all ? Answer that question.
Yes, my sole intent posting here is to be an ass... I think I'll fit in fine here. Keep them coming , I'm in the office all day and would like to hear from each of you experts. ![]() |

I also keep track of all the cars I test drive when I'm "not in the market." Have a spreadsheet at my office. Let's see, one beauty I drove and passed on a year ago just got a tune up and is running really well! What a great car, pulls like crazy. Don't you dare say anything bad about that car! Thanks for the laugh. You are one sleazy dude. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

No contradiction...not in the market at this time (for a black 911)...its winter and I'm wanting a silver or white one come spring or summer... does that compute einstein?
What's with the name Rodeo? You like to ride cowboys or something? ![]() |

Give me a call when you're ready to buy. I actually have a buddy who is a cop, and he posts himself outside my house when I'm selling a car.
When he pulls over the prospective buyer, it seals the deal every time baby!

Are you Willard Scott? Gosh, you are right .... but doesn't winter begin on December 21st? Where in New England are you? Cmon down and we can drive it together, quite sure Brian will let us as there is no snow at this time....or are you a pussy?
Unlike you, I would never say anything bad about a car I've never seen or driven. And, no, I don't keep track of all the cars I've driven...I just remember the good ones. |

LOL....sweet ride man. What model 911 is that?...must be the Rodeo stool-pusher edition?
How about it? want to come down to CT and drive the car...then you will be qualified to poo-poo if it you like. I can arrange it this weekend if your Mom will let you out of the closet. |

Aw, c'mon Rodeo, please come down...are you afraid you might like it and be completely wrong? Don't be a wallflower , be pro-active and do something other than knock it from a distance.
It does pull nice ...you sure know how to pull it , are you pulling it now as we speak? Switch hands so you don't get it bent in one position. |
