What do you expect from a convicted counterfeiter??? At least he didn't destroy the other Enzo and SLR... send his ass back to the UK and more fun with Bubba!

What I STILL want to know is...how did this guy import these cars here? Perhaps his status as had of this transportation department fronted by Homer's auto repair!?!?

This is just strange beyond words.

Diplomatic passports work wonders and they can be had if you know how to do it and some extra cash...

He should have got some tips from the film "To Live and Die in LA"... they did it so authentically, that the Secret Service called in the propman several times when some got out--

She's calling Dietrich, who drove the Enzo into the telephone pole.

Yep - and remember, if anything, the guy is a suspected counterfieter.

He brought them here as "show" cars for display only, not to be driven on the road.

article off wire says:
"Swedish authorities have told the sheriff's department that Eriksson served a prison term in the early 1990s for counterfeiting".

She's got some major bags under her eyes... guess she hit up Louis Vuitton and the BH fake boob doc, but knew the end was near... life on the run from the law isn't all that fun is it baby?????

Just reading what you posted, it sounds like the cars are actually the property of Gizmondo -- for whom he no longer works. Not to mention given that the company was in bankruptcy, so technically the assets are under the control of the administrator. In a nutshell, he no longer had the right to have the cars in his possession.

Quote: "...there was blood on the air bag that deployed upon impact -- on the driver's side."

If they're suggesting that only one airbag went off (as was reported several times) I'd have an issue with the claim. According to my Ferrari connected friends the airbag deployment mechanism is not capable of determining if there is a passenger or not.

"But federal customs officials testified Friday that the three British banks reported the cars stolen after Eriksson stopped making payments on them. Monthly payments on one Enzo were $8,812."

Wow, that's steep!
