Where was everybody? 3 Porsches, no Ferraris. Coffee, then Decker to PCH. Stopped at the offending pole for a moment of silence, then on to Neptune's for lunch. Nice day!!

Sincere apologies Howard. Had trouble getting away from Oklahoma for the day.

Would you considered a national tour?

Sorry Howard, I drove my car to Portland & back instead...visited friends. BTW, I answered the imposter by posting a question on the auction site. Maybe that person needs to stuff it where the sun don't shine? It's terrible when you can't see the light and the view gets progressively narrower....

So, if someone was selling a set of Ferrari rims it would be a copyright infringement?

I don't get it, you were selling an pice of hose off of a Ferrari how is that infringement?

It seems all these parts need to be removed as well.

Intellectual Property rights? So you aren't allowed to sell a Ferarri Hose on eBay? It was a real Ferrari hose, I saw it a Long Beach this weekend.

Nice to meet you at Long Beach, Howard.

Gee, I think that's the first time I've ever seen "Ferrari" and "intellectual" in the same paragraph.

Nice how they can pick an "infringing" item and let others go.
Guess they didn't like the attention it drew to their crumbled million dollar baby.

I agree. I would guess that its all about the perceived negative publicity to Ferrari. After Howard's auction got covered in the local paper, or more likely, when someone noticed the auction had over 25,000 views as of yesterday, someone decided to call the attorneys.

Its was still an inspired piece of work, though.

What's Plan B, Howard? How about relisitng it as a "hose of undetermined Italian origin"....

By George, Rick...I do believe you nailed it!
(edit) I wonder if Ferrari could be sued for hampering a legitimate sale of legally obtained goods. Hey, this hose could end up getting Howard a new F car as a settlement.

Ever try arguing with an Italian? Or an Italian Lawyer for that matter....waste of time and annoys the pig.....woops old joke.

Put the letter up on EvilBay, auction BOTH off....spell it Enzone and the Freerari letter from the law firm of Screwy, Dewey and Giuseppe Shysters at Law.
