ive only had a finger from the doc until now, what's this camera thing you speak of? i guess it depends on who's watching what the camera takes film of to determine if it's good or bad...

cliffy, my gerbils are not hairless, they are CLAWLESS! remember that no claws means you for go the nicks and cuts..

It's 50, Cliffy, but I'll be ready. I've been practicing.

What room are we staying in in Willows?

The only thing I am noticing as I age , will turn 40 this year as well is that I can't seem to tell the age of the young girls at the mall. Not that I am checking them out or anything. They all somewhere in there 20's. But I suspect they are all in high school. Yikes! I am glad I am not single anymore.

OK. I used to work for Olympus America as a Technical Service Advisor, first in the Medical Division then in the Industrial Fiberscope Division.

So, the camera is actually a FOUR FOOT long tube, about as round as a thumb, that they stick inside of you. All I can say is that DON'T ever assume that hospitals are on top of maintenance on these things. Some hospitals were, but many were not.......NOT good. One time, there was a colonoscope with a BITE MARK !!!!!!!!! REALLY not good........

We turned in several facilities to the FDA due to poor practices.

Anyway, the industrial scopes were cool, look down engines, pipes etc. MUCH better times

Just keep in mind, FOUR feet

well as the great "turning 40 experiment" draws to a close it's been like i was 20 again all weekend. well except for getting layed?? a quick recap-

thursaday, the actual day, i got off work early, around noon and went and met one of my very best friends at his joint. darrin, my friend shares the same exact birthday as me and we turned forty at about the same moment, like we did at 15, 21, and 30. from his haunts, a bar called the peacock we drank the afternoon away. not productive i admit, but the bar keep there has a great set of boobs, and washes the glasses with rubber gloves on. from there we went and had dinner prepared by darrin's wife, it was a chicken affair with rice fit for a king, not a couple of drunks having a birthday mid-week.

from there we went to a regular thursaday night gathering of local dudes that play cards, ping-pong, and dink alot more than anyone should on a school night at one guys house. it worked perfect as i got hammered with a bunch of good friends, and some guys i did not know so well. darrin and i could do no wrong and never were thirsty again the rest of the night. from there it was to a bar down town and it kinda became a blur at that point.

on friday we had organized pelican get together for drinks via a local bay area yahoo pelican board we refer to as BAP. it turns out that cliff (vash), rick,(zonas), and a couple other guys made the trip down to hang out at my haunts, murphy's law, paul & harvey's, and a pasta joint called gumba's. we had drinks mixed by the lovely jen before dinner, and the big busted maria after. one puss had to have more coke added to his drink after maria mixed hime something with JD laced in, what a girly-man.. i think it was a good time and some local pelicans got to see how i roll. ive always wanted to say that, you know, "how i roll"?... we were well hydrated, and fed pretty good to-boot. i think by the chatter on the BAP board it was a good time and cbeers farms fig.

anyway it ened up i went with my family's on saturday, pops and i put the new shocks on my truck he got me for my birthday and ate a fine meal. home by 9 and in bed actually feeling forty for the 1st time yet.

had a great birthday, learned alot from this thread, and thank my old friends for a night out, my pelican buddys for another way above average time on the town, it's great to be included here, and tell tabs if you see him i only feel dead this sunday afternoon.

i suspect i will feel all of my age tomorrow, monday, as i head into work looking another fools week of work in the eye.

t$
