Turned 41 last month. I think the worse part about being 40 is.......um............well............maby the................to hell with this, I'm still younger than my wife!
Just look at the 20 year olds today and see what they can't/won't do and you won't feel old at all.

Turns out I have diabetes. If you regularly get up in the middle of the night to pee you may want to get checked out. I let it go too long and also have some nerve damage because of it.

Seriously, good point.
Grandpa on my Mom's side pretty much died from diabetes.

will i start to complain about my long walk to school when i was a kid?

i have started to take a vitamin supplement, lost 25 lbs and getting prepared for this for the last 5 months, what else should i know, expect, look forward too turning this age? i have heard 40 is the new 30, any truth to that?

show me the light, as Ive never had a birthday weigh on my mind like this one is.

You don't have to sit, if you have some one to clean up after you...

Seriously, I don't feel 40. What is 0 supposed to feel like.Some days I still feel like I'm 15.

It's a day like any other. Just make sure it counts! Just like all of the rest!

I'm gonna be 40 this year as well, and honestly I don't feel a day over 39!

Birthdays have not been high on my list since 21, if even then...

30 was a fairly expensive one and I have a feeling 40 might be as well. My wife is also turning 40 this year, so I suppose we'd better hide the credit cards and checkbooks from each other now.

Carpe Diem, watch your weight, fly low and avoid the radar...

I noticed all through my 40s that my age started with the number "4". That hasn't been the case for a couple of years now. Glad I'm over that.

Than there's that great quote (from an unknown source),"When I was 15, 19 year-old girls looked pretty darn good! Now I'm 51 and the 19 year-old girls still look pretty darned good!"

Having said that, my son (mid 20s) claims 19 year-olds are too young for him. now. That seems to be the oddest thing about getting older. I don't feel like I'm changing that much, but all my friends are getting so old!

I turned 40 six weeks ago. Just another day.

40 is the age where you typically have reach a certain platform in life. Sitting in your favorite chair, in your appreciated home, with a nice wife, a few kids and a beloved Porsche in the garage. Sitting there, starting to contemplate what you have accomplished and what you have not. Realizing half of your life has been consumed. Asking your self if this is it.

Crisis around the corner..

At 40, it's already too late to "live hard, die young and leave a pretty corpse". So, might as well try to take care of yourself and live a long time.
