trying to backup all my outook express emails............

Im trying to backup all my outlook express emails but i can't seem to find the location of the various files (inbox, sent, deleted etc) so that i can copy them to a cd. can anyone help?

Click on Start, Control panel, Mail, and this will pop up -



and then click on Data Files and everything should be available to you in a .pst file format.

Click on start then on my computer

Double click on:

C:

then

documents and settings

then

the user name

then

Local settings

then

application data

then

identities

then

some weird looking long folder name

then

microsoft

then

outlook express

and there you are!

open outlook express.

click options (under "tools" drop-down).

click "maintanance" tab.

click "store folder" button.

highlight & copy complete file path.

paste in "Run" (under start menu), and hit OK.

select & copy all files in opened folder.

paste in back-up folder/file of choice.
