Ghost Recon 3 Is that really what play looks like?
That commercial I've been seeing for this game is unreal. I am not a gamer, but if that's really what it's like I'll become one. Or is that an "in game video replay" as rendered?

I have played earlier ghost recon...I was very impressed with the gaming. I am having a hard time rationalizing such a colossal waste of time.

Same. The games coming out now are nothing short of phenominal, but they're time sinks in the worst way. For this reason I don't go out and get an xbox 360.
I have "wasted" hours of my life on my ps2 playing GT4 though. And continue to. . .

Not sure how you can call doing something you enjoy in your spare time a "waste". No different than any other activity someone chooses to do.

I used to unwind here.
Then the liberals took hold. Moved on to Half LIfe 2 Deathmatches. Much more relaxing.

You mean like driving through the countryside at 100mph for hours in my 911 listening to rock music?  I play Joint Operations: Escalation. Total addiction. Sniper rifles make me happy.

I make it fun time with my kids. We put the smack down on some bad guys and talk about the history of WWII. Some of the games are very accurate as far as history goes. I bet my son (10 years old) knows more about the war than most high school and college students!
