My apologies

To everyone on the board, to Joe especially, I apologize for the stunt I pulled with the Fintstone bet. Suffice it so say, it's one of the dumber things I've ever done and I am ashamed and regret it.

I'm sorry.

I haven't been able to even read through the first half of Joe's thread, but I believe Rodeo got caught up in this somehow. I wish I had his intelligence, wit and wisdom to be sure. Please accept my apologies.

Take care all.

Shaun

OK, I know I'm new here, but by the apology alone you are feeling you're off the hook? Just wondering if you're going to "man up" and pay the bet...

It takes a big man to admit and apologize. Good job Shaun. It's going to take quite a bit of time to regain trust though.

Now about them girlie shirts. Will you please stop posting pics? Talk about glutton for punishment.

Shawn's posted a few times asking for Joe's info to send him the $. Dumbest thing I've ever seen anyone do, but it would at least appear he's doing the right thing.

I've stayed away from this train wreck (deliberately) but here's a sideline view:

The ability to admit wrongdoing is lost on virtually everyone these days. It shows remarkable courage and character to do so.

However, as was (correctly) said above, that alone will not rebuild the damage done to one's character by dishonesty.

I applaud Shaun for having the gonads to admit he was wrong though. I wonder how many of the stone-chuckers here would EVER have the balls to do that. . . Probably none. In that regard, he's the bigger man than 99% of the people here. In the regard of being dishonest in the first place, he's probably worse than 99% of the people here. Anyway, hope you all give him a chance to earn (key word - EARN) back the trust of people on this board.

Problem is that his PM inbox is full (wonder why??!) and have emailed him my info but no reply to date. He could Pay Pal me the funds and have it done and over with in an hour, but guess he has decided not to go this route. Really not excited about getting another check from him at this point for some reason.

Fessing up to your sins is a good start. If he is serious I accept but if its more of his "social experiment" then he is in for a long road ahead of him... He sure has stepped in the brown material on this one.

Joe, I PM'd you back that I cleaned out my PM box. Why the game?

You might be surprised to learn that it was full of support PMs. Members have rightfully piled on in public, no need to in private.

EDIT: Haven't gotten your email, just PM it now. Won't make to the bank today, but will tomorrow.

I have sent the information to you three times. Just did it one last time, and thats the last time it will be sent. Stop playing games.

You can be a man and end it today with Pay Pal, or keep playing games by sending a money order or cashiers check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS this time. Had enough of this game and do not forget to include my bank charges.

Re: PMm cleared out

You can do it faster with Pay Pal. joeaksa@XXXXXXX.XXX

For a cashiers check or money order (no personal checks this time), address is:

Joe Abrahamson
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Phoenix AZ xxxxx

$500 plus $30 for bank charges.

Lets not "social experiment" with this one shall we?

Joe, you are one sick fck! I replied to your PM and I also posted several times on threads that you are subscribed to that I have your address and will be sending a money order.

Take a look at the timestamp on this one: 4:07. It's 4:53 now dude.

Hey, I was stupid for pulling this, but geez man, you are proving my point that you are one sick puppie.

Someday you will figure out that when I say that I am overseas that at times it takes me an hour to get on the board. At times I have a good connection but other times I have been knocked off for several hours at a time.

Pay your bills in the first place and you would not have had this problem!

Joe, you've been posting non-stop for hours now. Get a grip man. I apologized, I said I was sending you a money order, and you've only responded in small and petty ways.

It's so easy to be apologetic these days and expect the slate to be wiped clean. It's much harder to behave honorably all the time so that you don't have to say you are sorry or that you were wrong.

I suspect Joe will have nothing more to do with the perp once Joe is made whole. A PayPal transaction takes less than a minute to complete.

I agree. It seems the only time people admit they are wrong anymore is when they are caught red handed. I notice Shaun didn't apologize until he dug his hole so deep he couldn't climb out of it.

Thank you gentlemen. I have no idea what this new game is, wanting to send me another check over doing Pay Pal which would clear this up immediately but then we all know that G9 is not doing normal things all the time.

"non stop posting for hours??" Read your time stamps again. Was off of it for almost 2 hours having dinner, then lost all signal in my room and had to come to the exec lounge to do this. Shaun you are living in another world, but then your buddy is even worse...

Joe, your member name is 3rd on the list at the bottom of the OT home page. You don't get there by losing your signal recently. You've been on for quite some time.
